What’s in a Name…?

The new Bible Society concerned itself with the wider UK population, that Society is now also known as the British & Foreign Bible Society, which differentiates it from all the other ‘Bible Societies’ around the world. At this point what was the Bible Society became known as the Naval & Military Bible Society. The British and Foreign Bible Society has almost as long a history as NMBS and continues to do great work today. They believe that when people engage with the Bible, lives can change – for good, a great statement that the NMBS wholeheartedly endorses.
