Egypt: Wolseley’s campaign of 1882 was consider one of the best managed expedition in British military history, the country continued to claim attention through to 1889. There is a record of 200 New Testaments being sent in 1888. in 1900 Bibles were sent to the Boer War. From 1901 up to 1910, Society income barely exceeded expenditure and on occasion it dipped into the negative, with most of the income coming from dividends on investment.
